Longevity has become a mainstream focus in recent years, however the space has felt a bit… blokey to me. This week on the show, I’m chatting to health expert Amelia Phillips on how we can live longer, but also better, as women.
Amelia has been in the health and wellness industry for over 25 years: as a trainer, exercise scientist, researcher, nutritionist, podcaster, TV presenter and corporate speaker. She was a cofounder of the Michelle Bridges 12 Week Body Transformation, and is a regular expert on TV, including in the current Channel 9 Show “Do You Want To Live Forever?” She also hosts a top rating podcast called Healthy Her.
Amelia and I discuss:
- The key factors that dictate how long, and how well, someone will live
- At what age we should get serious about taking action on these factors
- Your life span versus your health span
- The key metrics we should be tracking
- “Body whispers” you should never ignore
- How to tackle overwhelm at getting started on your own longevity steps
