Welcome back to the Injury Law Pod! Eric sat down with Crystal from the Finish Strong Foundation a couple of weeks ago to talk about everything the organization has accomplished this year and her plans for next year! If you don’t know about the Finish Strong Foundation, they are a nonprofit organization that supports young athletes when their families are struggling financially due to illness, injury, death, or any other unexpected traumatic life events.
Crystal's late husband, Mike Tanner, was involved/critically burned and injured in the 2013 JJ’s Gas Explosion at the Country Club Plaza. Keeping their kids in the sports they loved with their friends and coaches during Mike's recovery helped them stay focused during a very unsure and chaotic time. Sadly, Mike passed away in late 2018, and from then on, Crystal has made it her mission to continue her husband's legacy with the Finish Strong Foundation.
