You can in fact have it all according to Dr. Anand, and it is refreshing to hear such an optimistic female perspective in the world of healthcare and research.

Dr. Anand is a professor of medicine and epidemiology as well as the director of the Population Genomics Program. Her research interests include environmental and genetic determinants of vascular disease in populations of varying ancestral origin; women and cardiovascular disease. Dr. Anand is an amazing role model for young females striving to make an impact.
