With the holiday season right around the corner, I sat down for a quick chat with Dr.Meenakshi Gupta. We talked about eating habits for a balanced diet and stress management. Here is what we discussed:

  • Being mindful while eating can help maintain a healthy diet.
  • Adjusting sleep cycle with change in seasons.
  • Listening to your body!
  • Tips for a good night sleep such as foot massage with sesame oil, forehead massage around the temple area and adapting the right time to go to sleep.
  • Managing stress through useful breathing methods, body massages and gratitude.
  • Tips to maintain a balanced diet during the holidays such as eating before going to a party.
  • Importance of hydration.
  • Impact of ice cold water/drinks intake.
