Body image is mental and emotional : it’s both the mental picture that you have of your body and the way you feel about your body when you look in the mirror. Any one can have a low body image. It’s not like only people who are like overweight have a low body image. It is as easy to develop for a skinny person than it is for someone who is healthy or someone who is overweight. And why this is an issue we should all be concerned about is because this constant feeling that your body is not good enough, can be really a struggle to deal with in your day to day life.
