Welcome to the Authentic Dad Podcast! I'm David Waranch and I coach and support fathers on having a greater impact in the world, living on their own terms, and flourishing in their relationships. (Where we think it matters most).
Today, I'm joined by Simon Ravona. Simon is a Whole Person Certified Coach (WPCC), as well as a trained lawyer, negotiator, mediator and HR consultant.
Since completing his own amicable divorce in 2017, Simon has immersed himself in every possible self-help resource including books, articles, podcasts and studies.
In 2018, he started Catalytic Coaching Co. to help others, especially men, find wisdom, direction, and improvement, by looking into themselves, committing to mind-shifts and executing tiny habit changes. His self-help journey is informed by evidence that people—more often men—do divorce alone, without a guide, support, hoping lawyers and therapists will help them move on.
However, Simon discovered that other community, and especially other men, are essential to overcoming major life obstacles.
In 2017, Simon started a Meet-ups group, that went from zero to 120 members in one month. Simon found that people experience divorce almost alone; but wish to find support, wisdom and a path forward by connecting with others who have thrived despite divorce. This helped Simon realize that one of Simon’s life purposes is to help people discover their own meaning, life purpose and achievement through internal integration, authenticity practice, self-love, learning and training.

If you're a dad (or other person) who needs support in your relationships and are looking to make a greater impact in the world, I would love to hear from you.
