We're all looking at what we can do to be a better version of ourselves. And a lot of the times, we look outside of us. We look at all the boxes we could be ticking. But I believe the best way to become the best version of ourself is to connect back to who we are, and that is to explore and access where we're from and bringing culture back into our world. The moment I realized this for myself and allowed myself to connect to those parts of me, the more grounded I felt. Culture is what grounds us. Culture is what connects us to others, and more importantly, to ourselves.
