Today, host Scott Goodrich speaks with Nelson Nigel, CEO of Moto Nation, who gives us a seat at the table of innovation as he recounts his journey from behind the wheel to the helm of Kidmoto, a service that's changing the game for traveling families. In this episode, Nigel's story unfolds like the roadmap of resilience, covering his journey from driving a cab to owning a business that caters to an underserved niche. As they dissect Nelson's narrative, it becomes clear that his success with Kidmoto, and later Moto Nation, was not a stroke of luck but the result of meticulous planning and unwavering persistence.

Who is Nelson Nigel?

Nelson Nigel is a survivor, entrepreneur, and problem solver. At 13, he miraculously survived being hit by a No. 7 express train in NYC, losing part of his forehead. Undeterred, he embraced life’s challenges. Formerly a yellow taxi driver, Nelson explored New York City, connecting with people worldwide. His cultural anthropology background fueled his passion. Observing parents struggle with car seats, he founded Kidmoto, an app that pairs parents with professional drivers offering installed child car seats for airport transportation. With just $600, Nelson turned adversity into innovation, making travel safer and more convenient for families.
