Interview with Brandon Hutchins

Brandon Hutchins is practically a lifelong student of marketing, a passion he’s been cultivating since creating his own company right out of high school. “Back then, I wanted to know what motivated people to call me after seeing my advertisements,” he says, “and more importantly, what kept them coming back!” It’s this initial interest that’s blossomed into a 14-year career in professional sales and marketing across multiple industries.

Brandon’s experience is robust, showcasing proven abilities in direct technical sales and marketing strategy and implementation -- domestically and internationally. He’s a people person and multilingual, two skills that have served him well in creating and maintaining international marketing and distribution channels in his various positions.

Brandon currently serves as Beauty Industry Group’s President of Professional Brands, leading a team in conceptualizing, coordinating and maintaining successful marketing and advertising campaigns throughout the worldwide beauty supply market. It’s a position he enjoys because he’s constantly afforded opportunities to learn and discover new marketing trends. In a field that can be fickle and indefinable, Brandon’s focus is unwavering: Create crisp and organic marketing campaigns that resonate and create growth. “What interests me is how it just all comes back to people and the relationships you create with them,” he says. “There are always new theories, this year’s hottest marketing trends and new advertising tactics but ultimately, people just want a good experience with a good product or service.”
