In this episode, we speak to James Barkell, Lecturer at the University of Sydney & Coaching Consultant with the Coach Doctor. Focusing on how you can improve the design of your practices, we are going to cut to the root on how you can use contextual interference.
James runs the CoachDoctor podcast, and is Level 4 High Performance Coach in rugby union and has a PhD which focused on high performance in rugby. His philosophy is to encourage creativity in coaching, no one way is correct and you need to modify what and how you teach content depending on age, ability etc. Using questions is great, but it's how you use them effectively that matters. Likewise, games over drills, but there is still a place for drills.

You can contact him at Linkedin @james barkell phd, Instagram @thecoachdr and visit him at thecoachdoctor.com.au and the coach doctor podcast site.
