Merry Christmas! In three special festive episodes of Robby The Robot's Waiting, we're handing out Christmas presents... in a manner of speaking. In each one, regular hosts Dave, Tanavi and Richard have chosen a movie or TV show the others have never seen before to find out what they think – and to share the joy of sci-fi and fantasy this festive season.
First up is Dave's pick, Hawk The Slayer. Is it a classic of ’80s fantasy? Or is it just the butt of a joke in Spaced? To help us decide, we've brought along a special guest: Jason Kingsley OBE. Jason is the CEO of Rebellion, publisher of hit videogames Sniper Elite and Alien Vs Predator, not to mention the galaxy's greatest comic, 2000 AD. He's also held the Mind Sword, which makes him uniquely qualified to talk Hawk. Along the way, we discuss machine gun elves, the sequels that never were, and how a man who doesn't do much killing ended up being nicknamed "the Slayer".
