UGA Mentor Program Ambassador, Sara Ervin (Ph.D. & MIP '23), and UGA alum, Jasmin Severino Hernandez (AB '13), discuss life after college, what it's like to be a first-generation and transfer student at UGA, their book lists, the magic of saying no, and how they've grown as individuals personally and professionally because of the mentors in their life.
Jasmin studied political science and Spanish while at UGA. She went on to earn her J.D. from Mercer University School of Law as well as a LLM in taxation at the University of Florida. She now serves as an Associate Attorney at Chamberlain Hrdlicka. Jasmin served on the UGA Young Alumni Council as the Outreach Committee Chair for the Y20 fiscal year. As a student, Jasmin was involved with Lambda Theta Alpha Latin Soroity, Inc., the Hispanic Law Students Association, Hispanic Scholarship Fund Scholar Chapter, and Students for Latino Empowerment.
