Trump's second presidency is taking a turbulent start on all fronts, trans politics among them. While an executive order determines that there are only "two sexes", the administrative structure of the US seems to undergo significant changes. Is this "the cis state" (Jules Gill-Peterson)? We talked with Mutant Marxist Transsexual Menace Raver Post-Australien New Yorker Mckenzie Wark about the arrival of the digitalized ruling class at the center of the US empire, about the role of trans people in disinformation driven media economies and about what to do and when to do it (spoiler : it's unclear - but you'll know more). Our fight is not over yet, but must be continued in a consistent, intersectional and queer feminist manner, also in this podcast. Queerocracy Now! ist ein Podcast, der aktuelle Themen aus einer trans-, inter- und nicht-binären Perspektive zur kollektiven Selbstbestimmung mit einem Fokus auf Deutschland diskutiert.Wir wollen eine kritische Stimme aus der Community und für die Community sein in einer entscheidenden Zeit, in der wir für Selbstbestimmung, Gleichheit und Freiheit für alle kämpfen. Seit 1.11.2024 ist in Deutschland das neue Selbstbestimmungsgesetz in Kraft, das die Änderung von Namens- und Geschlechtseinträgen für trans*, inter* und nicht-binäre (TIN*) Personen erleichtern soll. Entgegen der landläufigen Annahme das damit das leidige Thema von geschlechtlicher Selbstbestimmung endlich geregelt und vom Tisch ist, verschlimmbessert dieses Gesetz die Situation von TIN* Menschen in Deutschland. Queerocracy Now! ist unsere Antwort auf dieses Gesetz in dem wir die Zusammenhänge von Selbstbestimmungsgesetzes, Gesetzgebung und Gesellschaft aus einer stabil- linksradikalen Perspektive kritisiert, kommentiert und elaboriert. Unser Kampf ist noch nicht vorbei, sondern muss konsequent, intersektional und queer feministisch weitergeführt werden, auch in diesem Podcast. Aus diesem Grund erscheinen wir alle zwei Wochen auf deutsch und englisch, alle zwei Wochen.
