Moonkittee’s Magical Fruity Salad

Apple - Vitality and Health (an apple a day keeps the Doctor away)
Blueberries - Speak your Truth
Mango - Self Confidence
Orange - Prosperity and Sun Energy
Raspberries - Self Love
Watermelon - Prosperity, Health, and Renewal
Pineapple - Luck
Grapes (purple) - Luxury
Lime Zest - Protection
Basil - Success
Mint - Energy and Vitality
Honey - Connection to the Divine, Prosperity and Diligence
Saffron (optional) - Prosperity and Healing

Prep (remember to use magical intention while preparing the ingredients):
Zest the lime and squeeze the juice into a small bowl. Add 2 tbsp of Honey and a couple of saffron strands (optional). Let stand for 20 minutes as you prep the fruit and herbs. (Alternatively - 1 tbsp honey and 1 tbsp Saffron Sugar). Finely chop 2-3 medium basil leaves and the leaves from 3 sprigs of mint.

Cut the apple in half horizontally to initiate magical intention, then cut into bite-sized pieces. Put into a large bowl. Chop the remaining fruit into bite sized pieces (if needed) and add to the bowl in this order:

Red - watermelon, raspberries
Orange - orange pieces, mango
Yellow - pineapple
Green - basil, mint, lime zest
Blue - blueberries
Purple - grapes

Remove the saffron strands from the liquid mixture of lime and honey, stir 3 times clockwise, and pour over the fruit. Mix Fruit thoroughly and let it rest for a couple of hours. Say:

“With this salad, I welcome in the energy of summer. May the warmth of the sun sustain me, the magic of the fruit enrich me, and the freshness of the herbs bring me the blessings of the season. As I will it - so mote it be.”
