Hi, I'm Chel Hamilton of the Meditation Minis Podcast and I want to speak to you for a few minutes on high achievers and anxiety. I think most if not all high achievers either have, or have struggled with, anxiety - because when you're up to big things in the world, you have lots of things that you're managing, right?

Did you know studies have actually shown people with anxiety are more intelligent? So there is some benefit to our anxiety... It's like problem solving on hyper-drive all of the time. And that can be a beautiful
thing, but we also get to learn how to get quiet and still. I know as a meditation podcast host, a lot of people have this idea that they can't meditate because their brains are too busy thinking things and they
can't, you know, "Quiet their mind."

So what I would like to lead you through today is a process in which we use our subconscious mind’s ability to imagine and feel, and for some of us even make pictures in our mind. If you're not super visual, don't worry, this will still work for you. We're going to harness that subconscious part of our mind to create more space to allow more silence and stillness in our mind without struggling with it, without fighting it.

Just try it and see how you feel at the end. You can do this with your eyes closed for a more inward experience, or if you feel more comfortable just staring at a spot on the wall or near the floor, that can work to as long as you just kind of zone out with that staring.
