When a young Eva Kollisch arrives as a refugee in New York in 1940, she finds a community among socialists who share her values and idealism. She soon discovers ‘the cause’ isn’t as idyllic as it seems. Little does she know this is the beginning of a lifelong commitment to activism and her determination to create radical change in ways that include belonging, love and one's full self. In addition to Eva Kollisch’s memoirs Girl in Movement (2000) and The Ground Under My Feet (2014), LBI’s collections include an oral history interview with Eva conducted in 2014 and the papers of Eva’s mother, poet Margarete Kolllisch, which document Eva’s childhood experience on the Kindertransport. Learn more at www.lbi.org/kollisch . Exile is a production of the Leo Baeck Institute , New York | Berlin and Antica Productions . It’s narrated by Mandy Patinkin. Executive Producers include Katrina Onstad, Stuart Coxe, and Bernie Blum. Senior Producer is Debbie Pacheco. Associate Producers are Hailey Choi and Emily Morantz. Research and translation by Isabella Kempf. Sound design and audio mix by Philip Wilson, with help from Cameron McIver. Theme music by Oliver Wickham. Voice acting by Natalia Bushnik. Special thanks to the Kollisch family for the use of Eva’s two memoirs, “Girl in Movement” and “The Ground Under My Feet”, the Sophia Smith Collection at Smith College and their “Voices of Feminism Oral History Project”, and Soundtrack New York.…

×Light changes everything! In "1 John", Pastor Jeff Kicks off the new series by reminding us that just as physical light reveals what is hidden, God’s light exposes truth, sin, and the path to real life. Are we truly walking in the light, or are we just pretending?
God is a God of second chances. In "Run For Your Life", Pastor Jake reminds us that that God’s desire for grace outweighs his need for justice. God has compassion for you and your enemies and the people you disagree with. God just wants you to Run with Him.
You can run from God but you can’t outrun God. In "Run For Your Life", Pastor Jake reminds us that Jonah ran farther away from God than it would have taken to run towards him. Sometimes we spend more effort covering up our sin than turning from it.
Every year Pipeline.Church puts on a special video presentation of both professional and collegiate players. These are their stories and how God has impacted them throughout their careers.
Scripture is like a coach you can trust. In "Do Over", Pastor Jeff reminds us that just as athletes study plays to execute them perfectly, believers must immerse themselves in God’s Word to stay on course.
Community provides encouragement and strength. In "Do Over", Pastor Jeff shows us that simply being present makes an exponential impact for others and how it strengthens community bonds. Community begins with showing up.
Life often feels like navigating an unfamiliar path in the dark. In "Do Over", Pastor Jeff reminds us that without clear direction we can find ourselves overwhelmed by uncertainty, making decisions based on fear, choosing on impulse or emotion and swayed by the worlds advice. God's word provides the clarity we need in our daily lives.…
Do you treat prayer as your lifeline or as your last resort? In "Do Over", Pastor Jeff teaches us that when it comes to prayer and our spiritual lives, we often respond the same way. We try harder without God, we quit in frustration, or we settle for shallow, surface-level connections with Him. We must make prayer our lifeline in all things we do.…
Sometimes we just need a Do Over. In "Do Over", Pastor Jeff reminds us that the grace of God allows us to experience a “do over,” not because we earn it, but because His mercy makes it possible. However, starting fresh requires us to train intentionally, as Paul says, to pursue godliness.
Christmas Eve is a night filled with wonder and anticipation. But beyond the lights, gifts, and celebrations, there lies the heart of the season—the greatest story ever told. This story doesn’t begin in Bethlehem; it begins before time itself and culminates in a stable, a cross, and an empty tomb.
Love is not a momentary passing feeling or a shallow emotion. In "Christmas Stories", Pastor Jeff wraps up the Christmas Stories series on Love. Loving sacrificially often means giving up our comfort, time and resources. This is the way we reflect God’s love to others!
God’s promises give us hope that hard times are temporary. In "Christmas Stories", Pastor Jeff reminds us that trusting His plan allows us to endure seasons of pain with confidence in His faithfulness. Joy is not a quick fix it’s a deep trust that God is working for good even in our struggles.
Sometimes, the fog of life can obscure God’s promises. In "Christmas Stories", Pastor Jeff kicks off our Christmas series by reminding us that because we can't see the full picture or have immediate answers doesn't mean God isn't faithful and His promises aren't true. Hold onto God’s promises, knowing He is faithful to bring light into the darkness, even when you can’t see the way forward.…
Life is full of distractions and dangers. In "1 Corinthians Pt.2", Pastor Jeff reminds us that in every relationship whether in ministry or everyday life, let love be the foundation.
Love is the key ingredient that brings value to everything we do. In "1 Corinthians Pt.2", Pastor Jeff reminds us that a legacy of love is more impactful than a legacy of accomplishments. Love is the key ingredient that brings value to everything we do.
