Film plays a vital role in the formation of public opinion and can be a tool for cultural diplomacy. Beyond its simple financial collateral, a film can create distinct identities for our nations and regions, articulate voices of our various minority communities, and can impact both the way others see us and we see ourselves. Considering film’s global importance, what responsibility do you think the film industry has as a contributor to cultural diplomacy?

In this eleventh episode, OzAlum Aoura Lovenson Chandra, a Film Producer and Chief of Finance and Business of BASE Entertainment, and Hermina Manlea, a Film Enthusiast and Lecturer at Timor University, take us behind the scenes to talk about their hopes for Indonesia's future film industry and how it can be leveraged to build cultural understandings between Indonesia and Australia.
