She holds a Masters in Public Health from USC and a Doctorate from Loma Linda University. As a public health advocate, Priya focuses on community wellness, from tackling childhood obesity to enhancing health access for seniors. She spearheaded statewide initiatives against domestic violence, pioneering victim services in Family Justice Centers. Priya, a product of Carlsbad schools and UC San Diego, is the youngest ever elected to the Carlsbad City Council.
