It is important not to let other people tell your story for you, because they don't have that same lived experience. You need to share your own story in your own words.

4. Your experience matters - Through the book, Betty hopes to ignite conversations. She wants people to reflect on the impact they wish to leave in the world. She wants people to be inspired to find their voices, take their space, and lead from a place of strength. Experiences should not be diminished, we need to share them. We all need to be more understanding and have more empathy. Afterall, we share the same universe.
