The need for safety has been a top priority for individuals and families around the globe. The year 2020 has shown us how precious and valuable our time, relationships, and what and who we allow within our circle. Most importantly why we must protect our space, our bodies, mental peace, truths, finances, and businesses. Today we look at the relationship between safety & security after trauma. What does it mean to be safe? What does it mean to feel secure? In what ways have you or your valuable time, relationships, space, bodies, mental peace, truths, finances, rights, and business/hobbies have experienced a sense of disruption, violation, or trauma? Causes of insecurity. . . . Quote: "Safety and security don't just happen, they are the result of collective consensus and public investment. We owe our children, the most vulnerable citizens in our society, a life free of violence and fear." -Nelson Mandela Journal Reflection: What area in your life do you feel may be violated, lost, or exposed? How can I add more safety and security to this area of my life? What skill, education, or awareness do can I invest in to apply this level of security and trust?
