As we engage in self work, we often find that difficult, familiar emotions resurface--emotions that we may believe we have already dealt with and released. When this happens, we can easily believe that we are regressing. However, emotions come in waves, and progress isn't measured by the absence of emotions but in our capacity to experience more, to feel more, and to ride even stronger waves.
