As solopreneurs, we’re often the CEO, the marketer, the content creator, and everything in between. While this independence is empowering, it can also be incredibly isolating. That’s why today, we’re talking about the importance of finding your tribe.
"Finding your tribe" is an expression that means looking for other people who are on a similar journey as you, at a similar stage in their process, share similar interests or traits that you want to learn — those people who get you, who support you, and who inspire you to keep going even when the going gets tough.
Some ways to find your tribe include:
- Joining groups that align with your interests, such as book clubs, hobby groups, fitness classes, or community gardens.
- Volunteering for a cause that's important to you.
- Attending social events, local meetups, or adult rec leagues.
- Making the first move.
- Connecting social media.
- Joining a mastermind or group coaching program.
