Has your doctor ever discussed testing your hormone levels? For that matter, have they discussed much around perimenopause or merely offered an anti-anxiety drug?

That's the case for most women.

In this episode I'm speaking with Linda Stephens, a nutritionist, personal trainer and coach for women in midlife. She's developed a comprehesive six week program taught virtually, Midlife Mastery, that educates wome on how their bodies change in midlife. The program covers science-backed data for hormone balance, longevity, mood, libido, and weight loss.

Some of the things we discussed:

  • Why doctors don't discuss testing your hormone levels and why you need to advocate for yourself.
  • What questions you should be asking your doctor.
  • Exactly what blood tests you should have done.
  • The most important vitamins for midlife women.
  • The facts about hormone replacement therapy.
