Lauren Kane is one of my clients who is enjoying great success because of what she learned in the Marketing to Millionaires program. Lauren has worked with female entrepreneurs for a decade. She spent six years as Director of Operations for one of the nation’s largest Angel Groups/early stage VC firms, Golden Seeds. After Lauren left Golden Seeds she decided that she wanted to continue to serve female founders, to take what she knew from being on the investor side of the table (especially now as an Angel Investor herself) and help founders be more strategic with their fundraising efforts. Lauren has successfully figured out how to do just that. Her clients get the attention of the right investors, in less time, which means they can focus on scaling their company. Lauren’s initial challenge was getting through the VC gatekeepers. The example of her story is so important, because if you are going to be marketing to affluent clientele, you need to know how to get through gatekeepers, whatever the business. When Lauren first started on her own she was calling herself a business coach for female entrepreneurs. The sales process was long and arduous. She struggled until she put into practice what she learned in my program. She shares: · How I helped Lauren find her genius zone in five minutes and why. · Without positioning she was not standing out from the competition. · She followed the Marketing to Millionaires plan and focused on only doing one step at a time. · She concentrated on creating a deeper relationship with her affluent clients. It’s the fastest path to the cash with affluent clientele and the return on investment is highly lucrative. · She made connections by thinking of it from a place of service, which made networking easier. · She continues relationship building.
