   6. Understanding foundations of American Society

1. Dialectic discussion
2. Test everything by the Word of God-
   1. Means that we must be students of the Word of God

2. Teaching to the Hand- practical application

1. Project based – get your hands dirty
2. Experiencing God in the practical application of life.

3. Teaching to the Heart – motivate them to see the value of learning and the value in what we are teaching them.

1. Reading literature and great books in order to maintain freedom
2. Develop neural pathways
3. Entrust the next generation with the tools to maintain a free society- Writing and reading
   1. Readers are leaders
