How do your favorite consumer products measure up? Lizzie Horvitz has been passionate about sustainability since the age of 16 when she lived off the grid. It was there that, depending only on wind energy and rainwater, she saw the solution of climate change before fully understanding the problem.

She later worked in supply chain and sustainability at Unilever and then became Chief Operating Officer at Muuse, a startup that aims to mitigate single-use plastics in the to-go industry. Now the founder of Finch, Lizzie Horvitz and her team are decoding sustainability, to help consumers like you and I make more informed buying decisions.

In this episode, we explore the six key factors in scoring consumer products for sustainability, how the consumer market is changing, and what Lizzie has learned as a startup entrepreneur who is changing the way consumers purchase.
