Was she the victim of foul play, an accident, or did she choose to disappear? In this episode of The Vanished, we retrace Diana’s last known movements, strange witness accounts, and the lingering mystery that has never been solved or.. was never meant to be solved.

And now for something completely different. I’ve decided to take the next year and explore an idea I’ve had for a while about the Fruits of the Spirit found in Galatians 5:22-23. These are Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self-control. I invite anyone who is interested in cultivating these in their life to join me as I explore the idea that they are freely available and easily accessible to all. This weeks topic is something I’ve been thinking through for a while now and my friends The Miser and The Mime helped give me some clarity. When we are wanting to change what our story is sometimes we are told to “write a new story”. For myself I find it can be more about telling myself a “true story” of how goodness and abundance have already showed up in my life. Join the conversation! I see myself in my child, good and bad, all the time. I’m recognizing patterns in her life that she learned from me and seeing it from the outside it doesn’t look so good. She creates how she experiences the world around her from the stories she tells herself. We all do - so I started to think about how to change the stories we tell our selves. I recorded this episode at the beginning of October but didn’t take that next step to publish it. Which is some what ironic. So have a listen and I’d love to hear your thoughts. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/l-o-v-e/message…
Transitions are tough, and when we are trying to keep multiple balls in the air inevitably one is going to fall. My management of my mindset and the inner work I am doing for myself has been the ball that dropped for me. But in staying aware and observant of my own life I noticed something in my daughter that I believe is a reflection of myself. She has been allowing the “what if’s” and “always” and “nevers” to control the stories she tells herself about her life. I’ve had to tell her to stop telling herself scary stories and realized I needed to do the same for myself. As humans we are always telling ourselves scary stories - it's all in what you think. This episode could be subtitled "when manifestation doesn't look the way you expected". There has been a lot of change in my life recently and it's taken a lot of adjusting to. I've had many opportunities for self reflection in the process and I've had some "ah ha" moments. There is something I manifested recently - a gift I have been given, but I've been completely discounting it as the miracle it is because it came from a completely familiar source. I also identified a subconscious belief around expressing gratitude that is so far from reality that I'm not sure where it came from, but it definitely needs to be addressed head on. Maybe you will identify with what I learned this week. I gave shout outs to 3 ladies who inspire me right now: Ashley Wood of the Manifest This podcast Sarah Smith of the Not Your Mama's Mindset podcast and Christine Conners who is launching her Intuitive Life Coach practice! Check these ladies out and as always - join in on the conversation by leaving a review, emailing me at thepodcastlove@gmail.com, or leaving me a voice message using the link below! --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/l-o-v-e/message…
So I didn’t publish a podcast last week. Right after I finished recording the last episode I experienced an extremely stressful situation that left me sick the next day and then had a surprise move to boot. But things are settling out again and it’s time to get back on the proverbial horse. I’ve had a lot of time to think about discouragement the last two weeks and how to deal with it. This episode is some of my thoughts on that. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/l-o-v-e/message…
This is week 2 of the Feminine Power course by Claire Zammit. It was a challenging one! I honestly didn't make it all the way through the material because it required some deep excavation of my beliefs about myself and my power. Claire asks some really challenging and important questions in this week and you may find yourself wanting to answer them as well. The end goal was to identify where I uniquely felt powerful - once I did that things started to become clearer around what some next steps are going to look like for me. But sometimes when you start to find your power you are also thrown curve balls to test how committed you are to standing in that power, this last week has also been a very personally challenging week and I almost didn't release this episode. Shout out's this week to the book Play Your Bigger Game by Rick Tamlyn and Episode 16 of the Empowered You Podcast with Kelly Espino (sorry, I don't have a link for this one). --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/l-o-v-e/message…
So there's something that people are talking about more and more that is a pretty significant aspect of peoples lives - Depression. I've struggled with it in the past and I remember being warned to not talk about it because it could impact the way people perceived me and my opportunities in the future. The problem I find with this is that it equates a persons mental or physical state with their identity, we are so much more than the circumstances of our existence and equating circumstances with identity prevents us from Living an Outrageously Vibrant Existence. This week I encourage everyone to listen to the following two podcasts by Dr. Caroline Leaf - Dr. Leaf is a cognitive neuroscientist, bestselling author, mental health and mind expert. How to NOT let toxic people, words, or situations affect your mental health and 3 Simple nutrition tips to boost brain & mental health AND improve memory & cognition . As you go about your next week see if you can become the observer of your emotions; rather than using your emotional state to define yourself by can you separate yourself from it and simply notice what you are experiencing. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/l-o-v-e/message…
This week I am introducing Claire Zammit's course Feminine Power - Claire markets the course to women who of course are more likely to be drawn to such a topic. But feminine power is something that exists within us all and it really has nothing to do with gender. Ultimately, feminine power is about self-actualization and moving beyond the need to control. It's surrendering your judgements around who you are or are "supposed" to be and letting your truest self emerge. At least that's what I got out of week one of the course! Shout out to my favorite coffee alternative Teeccino Dandelion Dark Roast Herbal Tea - because it looks like coffee, tastes like coffee, and is caffeine and gluten free! I'm not getting anything for this, I just like sharing what's working for me in the hope it will help someone else. If after listening this week you are interested in a more in depth talk about feminine power I recommend The Courtney Sanders Show, Episode 65. As always, if this topic was of interest to you and you want to share your thoughts please reach out! I enjoy video games and Dungeons and Dragons - I freely admit, I'm a nerd! I find that there are some pretty good analogies for life that can be found in games of any sort and when you view your own life as one big virtual reality simulation things can get pretty fun. We all have a tendency to be super hard on ourselves and forget that life is about learning and growth so I wanted to talk about small ways I make life fun for myself and the importance of being aware of the stories and experiences we create for ourselves. I gave shout outs this week to my favorite journal, the Good Days Start With Gratitude journal, and TWO podcasts that I hope you are already listening to because they are always so inspiring! Check out Leveling Up: Creating Everything from Nothing, Episode 90 and Mind Your Business Podcast, Episode 274 . ~ How can you make practicing gratitude and affirmations into a game? ~ What is the narrative you create for your life, can you separate fact from interpretation? ~ Give yourself permission to view every experience as an experiment and see what happens! Some of you may remember when the word “whatever” was the hot word used by girls every where. I’m dating myself now by referring to the movie Clueless specifically. In this episode I’m talking about bringing the word “whatever” back but as a tool for empowerment. Facing the FOMO we all feel and not letting a limited mindset drive our decisions. I gave a shout out this week to the podcast Adventures in Happiness ep. 71 - Mantras in Motion . This episode rocked my world this last week and I highly recommend it! ~ Where do you see Fear Of Missing Out showing up in your life? ~ Pay attention to how many product pitches you hear in the next week. ~ Find opportunities to practice saying "whatever" and letting go!
