But despite the overuse of labeling an issue a “game changer” or “a new beginning”, GREEN LANTERN #150 would definitely fall into that category. After only a few days of inheriting the immeasurable power of Ion, Kyle Rayner is at a crossroads. Does he continue to use his power to help people in unbelievable ways, including making an attempt at doing what Hal Jordan planned on doing in Emerald Twilight? Or does he use his powers for a greater good to suit the universe as a whole? It’s one of the highpoints of the Judd Winick run, and the very first comic bought by my very special guest host, Emily Middleton (Uncovering the Bronze Age and The Shortbox Showcase) who assured me there would be “consequences” if she wasn’t allowed on the show to discuss it.
