The age-old question of whether eating less and exercising more is the key to weight loss has been asked time and time again. While the concept seems simple enough, the reality is often more complicated than that. In this podcast, we'll take a closer look at whether eating less and exercising more is truly the answer to sustainable weight loss.
At its core, weight loss is about creating a calorie deficit, or burning more calories than you consume. Eating fewer calories and increasing your physical activity are two ways to achieve this. However, the key to sustainable weight loss lies in finding a balance that works for you.

Simply eating less may not be the solution for everyone. While reducing your calorie intake is an important part of weight loss, drastically cutting your calories can lead to feelings of deprivation and hunger. This can make it difficult to stick to your diet long-term and may even lead to binge-eating episodes.

On the other hand, increasing your physical activity can be an effective way to burn more calories and create a calorie deficit. However, exercise alone may not lead to significant weight loss if your calorie intake remains the same or increases.

The key to sustainable weight loss is finding the right balance between diet and exercise. This means creating a calorie deficit that is achievable and sustainable for you. It's important to find a diet that provides you with the nutrients and energy you need to stay healthy and active, while also being mindful of your calorie intake.
Additionally, incorporating a physical activity that you enjoy and can realistically maintain long-term can help you burn more calories and improve your overall health.
