Durante la dittatura fascista (1922-1943) anche la lingua italiana cambiò, perché il regime imponeva l'uso dell'italiano in sostituzione di parole straniere. During the fascist dictatorship (1922-1943) the Italian language changed because the regime imposed the use of Italian to replace foreign words. As you will hear in this episode, the result was the translation of names and places, as well as the invention of terms, which today sound very funny, even ridiculous.
