Her interdisciplinary interests encompass social identity, politics, culture, and inclusive pedagogies. Dr. Rodríguez's commitment to dialogue-based teaching led her to establish the Intergroup Dialogue Program at Occidental, providing students with peer-facilitated, credited courses. Currently, she continues her work in promoting dialogue as a member of the board of directors at the Difficult Dialogue National Resource Center.
