What happened to the creator space? It's become about reach, about gaining followers, and about getting the attention of brands and celebrities in order to promote who we are and what we're doing. Recognition instead of appreciation.
How do we, as Cosplayer, as people inside of this community, all vying for clicks and hustling the Cosplay come together and make it about more than 'beating the algorithm' or complaining about it?
There's so much great art out there in this space, so much hard work, and so much of it goes unnoticed because of the oldest established and even when we do pay to play, it's still an uphill battle. What to we do to combat this shift to endlessly, and without a break, creating engaging content?
