This week, we continue our employee profile feature by talking with Administrative Support/Interpretative Services Specialist Ana Garcia. Ana addresses her role here at the Audrain County Health Department (ACHD) as an interpreter for the Hispanic population in Audrain County that are seeking services at the ACHD. Ana also discusses her new group the health department is launching later this month that will focus on the Spanish-speaking women population in Audrain County. The group will meet once a month here at the health department to help those that Spanish is their first language and those that are bilingual in the county talk about issues facing them on a daily basis.
