· James Cao, bar supervisor at Smoke & Mirrors, the rooftop restaurant and bar atop the AC Hotel in Southeast. He’ll tell you how to treat yourself and friends with stunning craft cocktails along with equally stunning views of Capitol Hill and the Navy Yard;
· Chef/Owner Johnny Spero of the Reverie Restaurant and Bar Spero is back on “Foodie and the Beast.” You may recall that a huge fire took out Chef Johnny’s Michelin-starred tasting experience in Georgetown. It reopened in March and Johnny’s in with news about old favorites and new treats just sitting there waiting for your taste buds;
· If you don’t know much about Georgetown’s fashionable French restaurant, L’Avant-Garde, hang on – because you’re about to. We have invited Chef/Partner Sébastien Giannini to take us into the kitchen and through the menu for some truly amazing meals;
· Lamb Jam is back! Lamb Jam Month celebrates the culinary creativity of chefs across the country and supports family-operated farms and ranches that are raising sheep in the U.S. In May, in each of the seven Lamb Jam cities. chefs are running a small plate on their menu featuring American lamb and compete for the title of Lamb Jam Master of their city. Demetri Mechelis, chef/owner of Martha Dear, is in with the details. He is joined by his wife, Tara Smith, who actually runs the joint.
