Tomás is “the first gentleman” to be interviewed here on the Fiercely Brilliant podcast because his story is quite inspirational and loaded with wisdom.

Growing up with a father who was a marine, with a family that valued education and expect only certain careers (like doctor/lawyer/politician) it was quite the journey for him to break away. After much soul searching, he finished law school but chose not to sit for the bar exam. Of course, his family and friends were shocked by this choice, but it set him on a path for personal and spiritual growth.

We talk about how to have the courage to follow your guidance and how to KNOW what your guidance even is. Tomás shares ideas of how to use spiritual practice to grow a business and stay more connected to intuition.

One of the things Tomás shares is that “we have the tendency to get run over by our own lives” so we chat about that and how to navigate having a business and finding balance.

The show ended with us talking about how to choose love over fear. It is very sweet and will be a great reminder to you for how to stay present and connected.

He spent decades in low-vibing and less-than-satisfying careers including child custody mediation, and serves as living proof that it is possible to move beyond any adverse situation. He and his wife Cindy live in Phoenix, Arizona and love heat, sunshine and good hiking.
