83. Midnight Library: Conversation About Rain - Fire w/ Izzy Holman & Wendy Tabor
Manage episode 357341992 series 3442568
TW: pet death, suicide, depression
If you could live other variations of your life where you made different choices, would you? We explore that concept with Matt Haig's The Midnight Library with long time friends of the podcast, trombonist Izzy Holman (@sweetizzy123) and photographer/graphic designer Wendy Tabor (@designerwithfire). Our protagonist, Nora Seed, leads a crummy life. Or at least she thinks she does. Nora decides to kill herself and she finds herself in the Midnight Library, a place where she can be transported to other possible lives she could have lived if she had made different decisions. As long as the time is 00:00:00 in military or metric time, she is safe in the library. Nora finds herself living the life she (thought) she would have with Dan, the live where Volts is an indoor cat, and living in Australia with Izzy (not Holman!).
Join us for an episode filled with heartfelt feelings and good friends. Izzy and Brittany bond on their shared loved of the smell of gasoline, Catherine relates to "life fright," and Wendy gets personal about her hearing loss. Oh, and Brittany ran a marathon. This and more on your favorite podcast.
