In this episode, I talk about the feeling of not belonging anywhere, constantly feeling like I'm alone, and how I broke out of that.
With all of our past experiences and pain, it's inevitable we try to shield ourselves, so we end up building up a wall. But during this process of protecting ourselves, we also stop other people from reaching out to us.
I share with you some tips on what to do if you feel this way.
1) recognize you have this wall
2) give love to yourself
3) start breaking it down one brick at a time.
I want you to know that you don't have to do it on your own, there are people reaching out to you and ready to support you if you let them.
If you're in Toronto, and you want to rebuild your connection and support, come to this event called Women Empowerment, hosted by Immigrant Women in Business.
There are people ready to reach out to you to give you what you need.
It's happening on July 15th from 5pm-9:30pm at Toronto City Hall.
