“We live in a liquid world, where nothing is stabil.” - “Future wars will be about identity.” - “We need a European Union that is much stronger - and more democratic.” These are just a few of the statements of the Danish writer Carsten Jensen, who writes in his latest novel "Den første sten"/"The First Stone" about the senselessness of the war in Afghanistan. Carsten Jensen is the first awardee of the “EUF Europa Prize - donated by the University Council“, a prize honoring engaged Europeans.
