I discuss tropes/stereotypes in fantasy, touch on Wilem as "the betrayer," and celebrate his heart and humor.
Given that it is Black History Month, and because of the efforts in several U.S. states to ban the teaching critical race theory in schools and assigning certain books to students, I would like to invite everyone to join me in donating to We Need Diverse Books, a nonprofit geared towards making sure children's books reflect the kids who are reading them.
