Ryan Evans catches up with EdTech Shared at BETT to give us his backstory on what inspired him to digitally transform a special needs school. This encompassed helping teachers shift their pedagogical and technological practices to help students access well known digital tools to support future forward learning for all students.
The story of the development of IncludEdu is lovely because it ties in with Ryan’s own personal development as a Google Innovative Educator and the idea of creating teacher platforms that global communities can use to support the needs of all learners accessing their own schools curriculum.
Ryan is a former Head of Faculty and ICT teacher from Carmarthen in West Wales. A Partner Technologist for Google at Aspire 2Be, a Welsh based Learning Technology Company that are the only Apple, Google and Microsoft PD Partner in Europe. Ryan is a Google Certified Innovator and Trainer, Apple Professional Learning Specialist and Microsoft Certified Educator and his #VIA20 project reflects his passion for inclusivity in learning.
