Today, we're having our first discussion of our four part series about statistics with Dr Shannon Morrison.

- types of data (quantitative vs qualitative)
- descriptive statistics (measures of central tendency and measures of variability)
- Central Limit Theorem
- hypothesis testing
- type I and type II error
- p-values
- parametric and non-parametric tests for data analysis
