My aim is understand when, how and why people identified as Palestinian in history. Identities like “Palestinian” are not modern, pre-modern or early modern, nor do they date to antiquity or the ancient Near East. They’ve probably been around for tens of thousands of years.

🇵🇸 He holds a B.A. in Sociology and Political Science from the University of Michigan ​⁠@universityofmichigan8202.
🇵🇸 He has an M.A. in Arab Studies from Georgetown University ​⁠@georgetownuniversity. He did his Masters thesis on “Arab Historiography in Mandatory Palestine, 1920-1948”.
🇵🇸 He completed his PhD in Near Eastern Studies from Princeton University ​⁠@princeton. His dissertation is entitled "The Invention Of Palestine."
