While we do have trustworthy peace from God, it does not eliminate harm in this earth-life. However, the peace we receive from being in Christ does allow us to live free from the fear of harm. What else but the divine peace of God could cause Paul to write, “O death where is your victory? O death where is your sting?” (1 Cor. 15:55).
