This is episode 1088 of the Arete Coach Podcast with host Severin Sorensen and an episode on Personal Courage, the necessity of the Free Press for Democracies, and Empowering Writers, with special guest Julie Gammack, a former Executive Coach and Vistage Chair, with a background of journalist, reporter, columnist, and talk news radio host in Des Moines, Iowa.
In the interview, we explore Julie's life journey and experiences. At an early age, she saw, felt, and experienced injustice, and she stood up and took action. This carried into her career in the press, as a journalist, columnist, reporter, and news talk radio host, to her journey to an executive coaching and Vistage Chairing of 20 years. We explored some of Julie's favorite questions in coaching. We end by exploring Julie's current passion for empowering writers to unleash their voices and creativity in regional writers retreats.
