This isn’t a typical episode, it’s not about welding, but it is about some of the issues we as welders face. I feel that it’s a topic that many of us struggle with and therefore it’s a topic I wanted to address on the show, because I am sure many of you all are going through something. I told you all awhile ago, that my mission with this show, is to help, educate and inspire the next generation of welders. That doesn’t stop at welding. I’ve spoken with a lot of people in our community recently and they are all going through some things, things like stress, divorce, alcohol and substance abuse, thoughts of suicide and depression. I’ve dealt with some of these issues as well and figure it would probably be a good idea to get someone on the show to talk through this and also come up with some ways to deal with these issues. I am also putting a few resources for you all in the show notes of this episode. You’ll also be able to find them on my website arcjunkies.com under this episodes title. Joining me today is Lesa Perrish out of Houston Texas and later on in the episode, Mike Miller joins us to share some of his thoughts and experiences.
