Are you tired of feeling abandoned by others? Often times, you don't realize it starts with yourself and small ways you have neglected your needs.
In a society that is constantly telling you what you need, how can you blame yourself? Collectively, we are conditioned to thinking that our worth is tied to stories of societal expectations, or what others have told us we "should" be.
The world reveres the concepts of the "expert" to make you question your own intuition, and to give away our power to those that have studied the very essence of who you KNOW you are.
In this episode, I uncover the root cause of the abandonment wound, and how to recognize if you have been neglecting your needs + living the stories that have become your own.
There is a reason why you do what you do. From a trauma-informed perspective, this concept that "we are the sum of parts" comes from the work of Richard Schwartz with IFS, Internal Family Systems.
You will learn how to integrate these parts, both your light + shadow sides to begin to heal the abandonment wound and truly learn what it is to LOVE yourself beyond the bubble baths and pedicures!
I will also share 9 simple ways you can begin to start showing up for yourself, for even as little as one minute increments!
“The goal of IFS is not to eliminate parts, but to get them to work together in harmony. This leads to a greater sense of wholeness and integration.” – Richard Schwartz.
