Can we talk about the elephant in the room and the whole array of other animals with it? African governments are struggling in the area of Education. Whether there is even a will to provide quality is debatable. 60 years down the line most countries are till grappling with education models they inherited with barely any improvement, reformation or complete overhaul towards creating a relevance and representation.

Mwansa Mukalula-Kalumbi and Faith Abiodun discuss the role government plays in Education granted it is the main education provider for the majority of the population. What more can be done by government?

The world has advanced so quickly. However, education in Africa is not keeping up at the same pace. Be it the curriculum content, teaching methods or stakeholders commitment, there is an urgency to adapt to the times. Furthermore, conversations around Education have only focused on the traditional models. Until now.
