Jason Robertshaw has many years of experience in teaching marine sciences both in person and via distance learning. As the Programs Manager for Virtual Learning at Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium, he has a lot to share about how to inspire students about the marine sciences.

About Jason Robertshaw

Jason works at Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium as the Programs Manager for Virtual Learning, where he designs, develops, and delivers education lessons and collaboratively produces live events for audiences of all ages. He is also the technical director for the award-winning SEA Trek virtual learning programs and multimedia producer for free SEA Show content.
He is a certified Florida Master Naturalist and Instructor and serves as the Central West representative on the FMNP advisory board. In addition to FMNP, he also leads Endless Oceans, Mote's lifelong learning program. Jason is a board member of the Florida Marine Science Educators Association and a FMSEA/FWC Aquatic Species Collection Workshop instructor. He is a member of the National Association of Interpretation and the Children's Media Association. In 2022, he joined the advisory board for the Center for Interactive Learning and Collaboration. Prior to Mote, Jason worked in public television and in environmental project management for the state of Florida.
