Commander Snodgrass is a retired Navy F/A-18 fighter pilot and a Topgun graduate and instructor who served as the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps expert in air-to-air combat and tactics development. Commander Snodgrass also served as Communications Director and Chief Speechwriter for (former) Secretary of Defense, Jim Mattis, and is the founder and CEO of Defense Analytics, a national security and foreign policy strategic advisory firm specializing in strategy development, government policy, and technology adoption. Widely recognized as an influential national security and foreign policy expert, Guy has appeared on Fox News, CNN, MSNBC and is a regular contributor to publications like The Washington Post, Politico, Fox Business, CNN, and USA Today, in addition to having written and published two incredibly successful books, Holding the Line: Inside Trump's Pentagon with Secretary Mattis in 2019 and TOPGUN'S TOP 10: Leadership Lessons from the Cockpit in 2020.
