This episode is a discussion of how we have seen Bryce benefit from Music Therapy that we started five months ago. His anxiety has greatly decreased while his interest for creative activities has increased. He wants to listen to more music and play instruments at home now. He is singing lyrics and learning new words from songs. We describe a typical solo session as well as his group sessions. We have seen SO MANY POSITIVE RESULTS that we wanted to dedicate an episode to the topic in case other families are considering it.
We also bring everyone up to speed on new developments in our little family from the past two weeks. Bryce continues to be on a "brain growth spurt" which has us bursting with joy and amazement! We know this journey pretty much revolves around Bryce's timing, and we are so happy for all the progress he continues to make each day. His joy and happiness seems to be on a higher level now that he is able to verbally express more thoughts, ask more questions, and state more opinions. It's a beautiful thing!
Bryce is a funny, mechanical, HAPPY little guy who was diagnosed with autism at age two and is now six years old. His pure joy makes this world a much better place!
